Bobi Klintman reportedly pulls out of NBA Combine, won't return to Wake Forest
Bobi Klintman will not be participating in this week’s NBA Draft Combine, and he won’t be returning to Wake Forest either.
According to The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor, the former Demon Deacon standout has pulled out of the Combine and informed Wake coaches he won’t be returning next season. When Klintman initially declared for the draft last month, he did so while keeping open the possibility of returning to school.
Has he now gotten a promise ahead of next month’s draft?

A 6-foot-10 forward, Klintman came to Winston-Salem as a former 4-star recruit. Though he was a top-150 prospect, he didn’t have a massive role with Wake Forest in his lone season. Still, he averaged 5.3 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest in 20.5 minutes per game.
The skillset is attractive to NBA teams, though. He’s long, with guard skills and big upside. That’s the kind of player NBA teams will reach for.
The NBA Combine runs May 15-21. The 2023 NBA Draft takes place on June 22.
