At 7-0, Wake Forest is the ACC’s lone remaining undefeated team this season.

The Demon Deacons are one of the best stories in all of college football this year — but that could be about to change.

That’s according to ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI), which is projecting Wake Forest to lose three of its five remaining games down the stretch.

Wake Forest’s schedule does get more difficult, with games still to be played vs. North Carolina, North Carolina State and Clemson.

Here’s how FPI sees the remainder of the Demon Deacons’ schedule playing out:

  • Vs. Duke: 88.2 percent
  • At North Carolina: 39.6 percent
  • Vs. North Carolina State: 45.3 percent
  • At Clemson: 23.6 percent
  • At Boston College: 59.5 percent

According to FPI, Wake Forest has just a 12.2 percent chance of winning the ACC. The Demon Deacons currently have a 1.5-game cushion over North Carolina State in the Atlantic Division.

Wake Forest will have a chance to move to 8-0 on Saturday as it hosts Duke at 4:00 p.m. ET.
