Hank Bachmeier, QB set to enter his 6th season, reportedly decides on ACC transfer destinatinon

Hank Bachmeier is taking full advantage of the current system in college football, and is reportedly set to join his 3rd team in the ACC. There aren’t many quarterbacks on the move with more experience coming out of the transfer portal.

The former Boise State and Louisiana Tech quarterback is headed for Wake Forest, Pete Thamel of ESPN reported. Next season will be his 6th in college football.

In January, Bachmeier left Boise after 4 games after he won the starting job all 4 years he was there. He has one season of eligibility remaining.

Bachmeier at Boise went 20-9 as a starter, and played in 9 games with the Bulldogs this past season when he threw for 2,058 yards.

A notable prospect as the No. 7 pro-style quarterback in the 2019 class by the 247Sports Composite, Bachmeier chose Boise State out of Murrieta Valley (Calif.) over offers from several notable programs, including Tennessee and Georgia.
