A key Wake Forest bullpen piece is expected to miss the remainder of the 2023 college baseball season. Crawford Wade, a junior LHP, suffered an injury Friday against Binghamton and was declared out for the year Sunday, according to Essex Thayer.
Wake Forest’s Tom Walter told media following Sunday’s win that Wade’s injury looks like a season-ending one:
Wake Forest has had some injury troubles to start the season. Fellow bullpen piece Teddy McGraw has also missed time for the Demon Deacons, with Walter telling media he is likely to miss a large amount of time as well:
The No. 4 Demon Deacons are undefeated on the year, looking to keep that streak alive against UNC Wilmington on Tuesday.
