Wake Forest might be facing a weakened Texas A&M team in the Gator Bowl later this month.
According to Texas A&M insider Billy Liucci, the Aggies have been “shut down” since Saturday due to a number of COVID-19 cases within the program.
There’s been an uptick in COVID-19 cases and cancelations this month across the country. It has caused serious disruptions in college basketball, the NFL and the NBA so far.

ver that stretch, but have lost their bowl game in back-to-back seasons.
Wake Forest is coming off its second 10-win season in program history. A win over the Aggies in the Gator Bowl would push the Demon Deacons to an 11-3 record, which would tie for the best mark in school history (2006).
Kick off is at 11 a.m. ET on Dec. 31.
