Wake Forest baseball downs Cornell, earns best start since 1949

Wake Forest baseball is now 13-0 on the season, downing Cornell Sunday 10-3 to affirm their spot as the top team in a loaded ACC.

This is the Demon Deacons’ best start to a season dating all the way back to 1949, when Wake Forest started 20-0.

he country right now. They have a team batting average of .366 and were one of just 5 teams across the country that entered Sunday undefeated on the season.

Wake Forest is back in action Tuesday against Coastal Carolina.
