Wake Forest basketball picked up a big win on the recruiting trail Friday, keeping a key prospect in the state of North Carolina.

They player is Juke Harris, a 4-star shooting guard out of Salisbury High School. Harris revealed his commitment to the Demon Deacons over a group of finalists that included Miami, Kansas, Virginia Tech, LSU and Tennessee.

Harris becomes Wake Forest’s second commitment so far in the 2024 cycle:

Harris is listed at 6-foot-4 and 175 pounds. According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, he’s the 9th SG nationally and the No. 6 player out of North Carolina for the class of 2024. He also checks in as a top 50 player in the country (45th overall).

So far, Wake Forest holds commitments from Harris and 6-foot-6 combo guard Bryson Cokley. Both players are in-state prospects with Harris being the highest-rated of the two.
