Parker Friedrichsen announced Monday that he has committed to Wake Forest and head coach Steve Forbes, just a month and a half removed from decommitting from Notre Dame.
Friedrichsen was committed to the Fighting Irish since September before de-committing in January upon hearing the news that head coach Mike Brey would not return as Notre Dame’s head coach in 2023-24.
Wake Forest stuck with Friedrichsen and has now signed the 2nd highest rated recruit of the Forbes era, behind Carter Whitt just months after Forbes was hired as head coach in 2020.
Friedrichsen is considered to be the No. 118 player in the nation for the Class of 2023. He’s also rated as the No. 17 shooting guard and the No. 2 player out of the state of Oklahoma, per 247Sports composite rankings.
