Wake Forest lands commitment from in-state 2024 edge rusher

Wake Forest has earned a commitment from 2024 edge rusher Josh Harrison.

The Arden (N.C.) Christ School defender announced his commitment to the Demon Deacons on Saturday. He held FBS offers from Missouri, Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, James Madison, Charlotte, Georgia State, Georgia Southern. Old Dominion, and Miami (OH).

Harrison is rated as a 3-star prospect in the industry-generated 247 Composite. He ranks as the No. 70 edge rusher and the No. 29 prospect from the state of North Carolina.

A 6-foot-3, 215-pound edge, Harrison is a bit of a rising talent in the area after finishing his junior campaign with 58 total tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and a pass defended. He’s the 8th known commit for the Demon Deacons in the Class of 2024. He’s also the 5th front-seven prospect to join the class.
