Wake Forest linebacker out for the season with Achilles injury, Dave Clawson says

Wake Forest had plenty of potential this season in returning linebacker Eldrick Robinson II, but coach Dave Clawson announced that Robinson would miss the season because of an non-contact Achilles injury.

Robinson appeared in 4 games last season, and finished with 6 tackles. He was reportedly expected to be a solid contributor this season. The former Georgia Southern linebacker and Pensacola, Florida native redshirted last season after he appeared in 11 games and started 9 for the injury-depleted Eagles 2 seasons ago.

Robinson was expected to contribute at weakside linebacker for the Demon Deacons.

The redshirt sophomore missed most of last year with a right knee injury.
