Clemson QB signee Cade Klubnik throws for 3 touchdowns at All-American game

Clemson quarterback signee Cade Klubnik was one of the biggest stars at the Adidas All-American Game in San Antonio on Saturday afternoon.

Klubnik threw for three touchdowns as his West team cruised to a victory over the East squad. Here’s a clip of his first TD of the game:

He also made several other impressive plays, including this 3rd-and-15 completion while rolling to his right:

For his efforts this week, Klubnik was named the All-American Bowl Player of the Year.

Klubnik is expected to enroll early at Clemson and be with the Tigers during spring practice. It’s possible he could play himself into Clemson’s starting lineup at some point in 2022.

Quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei is returning next season, but he posted the ACC’s worst passer efficiency rating in 2021. If he doesn’t improve, the Tigers may decide to give Klubnik a chance.

Klubnik is the No. 1 overall quarterback in the country for the class of 2022, according to 247Sports Composite rankings
