Florida State commit records 5 sacks in high school game

Florida State commit Lamont Green Jr. had himself a game this weekend.

Green recorded 5 sacks in his high school game this week. His father, who was a captain at Florida State in 1998, shared a clip of one of the plays:

Green made a big impact on the game, leading his team to a 21-14 win over Benjamin. He’s up to 12.5 sacks on the season.

He attends Gulliver Prep in Miami. He’s listed at 6-foot-4, 228 pounds.

Green is the No. 254 overall prospect in the class of 2023, according to 247Sports Composite rankings

. He’s also the No. 29 EDGE prospect. His ranking could continue to rise as more evaluators are able to study his senior tape.

His father, Lamont Green Sr., was a key member of FSU’s 1998 team that made the National Championship Game. He led the team with 73 total tackles and was named first-team All-ACC.

The Early Signing Period begins in December.
