Mike Norvell comments on Jordan Travis’ status after practice session

Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis seems to be making tremendous progress in his return from a lower leg injury he suffered vs. Louisville in Week 3.

Travis practiced with the team on Wednesday and was seen going through drills and jogging onto the practice field

.

After practice was over, coach Mike Norvell seemed pleased with how Travis responded to the session.

“We were able to get Jordan out there and moving around,” Norvell said

. “I thought he threw the ball well.”

If Travis is able to return to the lineup without missing a game, it would be a big break for the Seminoles. He spent the second half of FSU’s win over Louisville wearing crutches and had a boot on his left foot.

Travis has been one of the best quarterbacks in the ACC to start the season. He has 624 yards and 4 touchdowns while averaging 9.6 yards per attempt on the year.

Florida State hosts Boston College in Week 4.
