Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis seems to be making tremendous progress in his return from a lower leg injury he suffered vs. Louisville in Week 3.

Travis practiced with the team on Wednesday and was seen going through drills and jogging onto the practice field.

After practice was over, coach Mike Norvell seemed pleased with how Travis responded to the session.

“We were able to get Jordan out there and moving around,” Norvell said. “I thought he threw the ball well.”

If Travis is able to return to the lineup without missing a game, it would be a big break for the Seminoles. He spent the second half of FSU’s win over Louisville wearing crutches and had a boot on his left foot.

Travis has been one of the best quarterbacks in the ACC to start the season. He has 624 yards and 4 touchdowns while averaging 9.6 yards per attempt on the year.
