Josh Gattis is out at Miami.
Mario Cristobal is looking for a new offensive coordinator as UM announced the dismissal of Gattis on Friday morning.
Gattis joined Cristobal’s first Miami staff in February 2022 after spending the previous 3 seasons at Michigan (2019-21), including winning the Broyles Award for 2021. Gattis and Cristobal had previously worked together at Alabama in 2018.
In 2022, UM struggled on offense throughout a 5-7 season. Nationally, Miami ranked No. 81 in FEI offensive efficiency rankings

ichigan offense averaged 35.8 points in 2021, leading the Wolverines to a Big Ten title and a trip to the College Football Playoff.
Gattis, 39, was a 5th-round NFL Draft pick in 2007 out of Wake Forest. He got into coaching in 2010 as a graduate assistant at North Carolina.
