The Tar Heels are 1 of 5 destinations being considered by 5-star forward Matas Buzelis. He announced his top 5 on Thursday afternoon.
In addition to UNC, Buzelis is also considering Kentucky, Florida State, Wake Forest and the G-League Ignite program.
Buzelis is the No. 7 overall player in the country for the class of 2023, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. Listed at 6-foot-9, Buzelis is capable of making plays off the dribble and is a good shooter from distance.
