Notre Dame RB Kyren Williams has incredible reaction after being picked by Los Angeles Rams

Notre Dame running back Kyren Williams was an early pick on Day 3 of the NFL Draft.

He was selected in the 5th round on Saturday afternoon by the defending Super Bowl champs — the Los Angeles Rams.

Shortly after the pick was made, Notre Dame posted his heartfelt reaction and conversation with the Rams. Here it is:

That’s clearly an emotional moment for Williams, who grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, where the Rams were located until 2015.

Williams was arguably Notre Dame’s best offensive player over t

he past two seasons. He departed Notre Dame with back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons and is also a threat out of the backfield.

The Rams have one of the more sophisticated offenses in the NFL, so Williams’ versatility could end up playing a big role. He was also an excellent pass blocker at Notre Dame.

Cam Akers and Darrell Henderson are currently ahead of Williams on the depth chart.
