Jahmal Banks, Wake Forest WR, mosses Elon defender for touchdown

It’s been all Wake Forest early.

The Demon Deacons scored their first drive of the season and barely broke a sweat. Following a field goal, wide receiver Jahmal Banks put up TD No. 2. And it was a beauty.

Banks mossed the Elon defensive back for the score, an early Catch of the Year candidate, if you will. Check it out below:

How about that for a hot start, WF fans?

The Demon Deacons surely aren’t playing Alabama’s secondary, but the s

tart of the season could not be going any better. Mitch Griffis has looked strong in place of Sam Hartman at Notre Dame, connecting on 9 of his early 12 passes for 152 yards and 2 touchdowns. And we’re barely done with the first quarter, folks.

Wake Forest leads Elon 17-0 with 12:32 remaining in the 2nd.
