Florida State offensive lineman Robert Scott will be back with the Noles for 2023.

The talented left tackle signed with NIL collective The Battle’s End on Thursday, indicating he plans to return to school in 2023.

That’s big news for Florida State, as Scott was eligible to enter the 2023 NFL Draft. Scott was named second-team All-ACC for his performance in 2022.

He was a big part of why FSU’s running game took such a big step forward this season. The Seminoles also led the country in plays of 20+ yards.

Still, there’s room for improvement for Scott. He battled injuries this season and could potentially have an even better 2023 campaign if he’s able to stay healthy.

So far this offseason, Florida State has been able to retain many of the key pieces who have led the Noles to a 9-3 campaign in 2022. Quarterback Jordan Travis, receiver Mycah Pittman, center Maurice Smith, and linebacker Kalen DeLoach are all set to return next season, amongst others.

Florida State faces Oklahoma in the Cheez-It Bowl later this month.
