Alex Hemenway, Clemson guard, receives injury update ahead of Tuesday game
Alex Hemenway has been out of action for Clemson basketball since Dec. 17 against Richmond. His 10-game hiatus due to a foot injury is expected to come to an end Tuesday as Clemson takes on Boston College.
Hemenway is one of 3 key Clemson players to suffer from injury problems in the past month or so. Chase Hunter returned to action recently, and now the Tigers are a step closer to being full strength with Hemenway back in the lineup.
Big news: Expecting Clemson starting guard Alex Hemenway to be available for tonight’s game against Boston College. First time since mid-December.
Brevin Galloway not expected to play.

Hemenway was averaging just under 10 points per game, also adding 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists during his 12 games this season. The Tigers have played well even without his services, earning 9 wins in his 10-game absence.
Even despite the injury issues, Clemson is currently alone atop the ACC rankings, sitting at 10-1 in conference play this season. The real test comes in the next few weeks, as the Tigers will face off against Miami and North Carolina in back-to-back games.
Clemson plays at Boston College Tuesday night at 7 p.m. EST.
