Cade Klubnik will have a different offensive coordinator calling the plays in 2023. Clemson hired Garrett Riley away from TCU in the offseason and it looks like the Clemson QB approves so far.

Klubnik appeared on the ACC Network to talk about what fans can expect from Riley’s offense. Riley is the brother of current USC HC Lincoln Riley. Klubnik described the offense under Riley as electric.

“I just think it’s gonna be electric. I think that’s the best way to describe this offense. I think we have the best defense in the country and we get to go against them every day. I believe we have the best coaching staff in the country and they’re preparing us to be the best we can be. I’m just so excited for the next year. With coach Riley coming in just the confidence and energy that he’s gonna bring, it’s gonna be fun.”

Clemson will be looking to return to its standard of winning after losing to Tennessee in the Orange Bowl this past season. The Tigers finished the year at 11-3 after losing to the Volunteers.

Klubnik is expected to the starting QB for Riley’s offense next season. Klubnik threw for 697 yards passing with 2 touchdowns and 3 interceptions as a freshman.
