Florida State is hosting 4-star quarterback prospect Mabrey Mettauer on Monday, according to a report.

That’s per 247Sports’ Chris Nee, who notes that Mettauer does not yet hold an official FSU offer.

However, Mettauer is regarded as one of the top quarterback prospects in the class of 2024. He already has offers from programs like Miami, Baylor, North Carolina, Arkansas and Florida, amongst others.

Mettauer is the No. 18 quarterback prospect in the class of 2024, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also ranked as the No. 29 player in the state of Texas.

He’s listed at 6-foot-5, 215 pounds. He attends The Woodlands High School in The Woodlands, Texas, which is near Houston.

Florida State is off to a fast start in the class of 2024. The Seminoles currently have 4 commitments and have the nation’s No. 1 overall recruiting class, per 247Sports Composite rankings. The class is led by 5-star athlete Kameron Davis.

There is no timetable for Mettauer’s commitment.
