Clemson dominated North Carolina en route to a 39-10 victory on Saturday night in Charlotte.

This is Clemson’s seventh ACC Championship in the last eight seasons.

Quarterback Cade Klubnik was the star of the show for Clemson. He entered the game on Clemson’s third series, and the Tigers never looked back.

Klubnik threw for 279 yards and one touchdown on 20-of-24 passing. He also rushed for 30 yards and another score. Most importantly, Clemson’s offense looked as efficient as it has all season long.

It was a short night for DJ Uiagalelei, who was benched after failing to pick up a first down on Clemson’s first two offensive series. Moving forward, it will be interesting to see if Clemson decides to stick with Klubnik. Uiagalelei has struggled to live up to lofty expectations over the past two seasons.

On the other side of the ball, Clemson’s defense was dominant. North Carolina found the end zone on its first drive of the game and then never made it back. Cornerbacks Nate Wiggins and Jeadyn Lukus each picked off Drake Maye in this game, with Wiggins returning his INT for a touchdown.

Clemson will now head to the Orange Bowl. North Carolina will learn its bowl destination on Sunday afternoon.
