Clemson lands in top 12 for 5-star WR out of Georgia
Mike Matthews is one of the top wide receiver prospects in the Class of 2024. The 5-star out of Parkview HS is Georgia announced Tuesday that he had whittled his impressive offer list to 12, including Clemson out of the ACC.
Clemson has some tough competition, however. Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Tennessee, LSU, Georgia, Texas A&M, Colorado, USC. Ohio State and Michigan all cracked Matthews’ list.
He dropped his top 12 list via social media Tuesday, via Hayes Fawcett:

Recruiting sites rank Matthews slightly differently, but he’s a consensus top 10 player in the country regardless. According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, Matthews is the No. 6 overall prospect, the No. 2 WR in the nation and the No. 2 player out of the Peach State.
