Duke defeated NC State 88-73 on Saturday afternoon in Durham.

Center Mark Williams was the leader, scoring a season-high 19 points while adding 11 rebounds and 8 blocks. His 8 rejections were a career high.

He helped limit the Wolf Pack to just 41.3 percent shooting from the floor. Meanwhile, Duke shot 58.3 percent and scored a remarkable 58 points in the paint. The Blue Devils attempted just 13 3-pointers in the game.

Paolo Banchero was also excellent vs. NC State. He scored a game-high 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting. The bulk of that work came in the second half.

Wendell Moore Jr., Theo John and Trevor Keels also scored in double figures. Keels dished out a game-high 9 assists and helped run Duke’s half court offense for much of the game.

This is Duke’s second straight win since falling at home to Miami last weekend. It’s a nice recovery for a team that has hopes of being a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament this March.

The Blue Devils will be back in action again on Tuesday at Florida State.
