Despite a breakout performance vs. Kentucky in the Champions Classic on Tuesday night, Duke forward Paolo Banchero is not in the top spot on ESPN’s latest NBA mock draft.

Banchero is at No. 2 in the mock, which was put together by NBA draft experts Mike Schmitz and Jonathan Givony.

Gonzaga’s Chet Holmgren is in No. 1 spot, followed by Memphis’ Jalen Duren at No. 3. Auburn’s Jabari Smith and the G-League Ignite’s Jaden Hardy round out the top 5.

Banchero posted 22 points in his collegiate debut vs. Kentucky on Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden. However, Holmgren also had a good night in his debut. He had 14 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 blocks in Gonzaga’s season-opener vs. Dixie State.

Holmgren and Banchero are likely to jockey for the No. 1 overall pick up until next summer’s NBA Draft.

Duke had three other prospects land in this mock as well. Trevor Keels was the big riser after he scored 25 points and played excellent defense vs. the Wildcats, jumping into the lottery at No. 14.

Center Mark Williams and forward AJ Griffin also made the first round, coming at No. 24 and No. 25, respectively.

Duke will be in action again on Friday night vs. Army.
