Florida State offensive lineman D’Mitri Emmanuel is moving on from Tallahassee, declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft on Thursday.

Emmanuel arrived at Florida State by way of the transfer portal from Charlotte in 2022. He secured his spot as a staple on the OL after starting in all 13 games at right guard last season. Emmanuel played in every game this season as well.

Here’s what he had to say about the move:

“To Coach Norvell, Coach Atkins and the rest of the staff, Thank you for your leadership. Trusting in me since the beginning, pushing every player to achieve their best, and always climbing no matter what circumstance you may find yourself in,” said Emmanuel. “Forever grateful to be part of the Nole family. Special thanks to my teammates for welcoming me with open arms and push the standard everyday with my brothers! … With that being said I am officially declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft.”

The Seminoles ended the year with a brutal loss to Georgia in the Orange Bowl without many of their main contributors on the field. Florida State finished with a 13-1 record after the 63-3 loss.
