Mike Norvell knocks down style points question in latest comments on Playoff snub
Mike Norvell thought Florida State did plenty in terms of style points in the ACC title game.
Brock Glenn suited up at quarterback with Tate Rodemaker injured as Florida State beat Louisville 16-6. Norvell was asked on Friday if he would have asked for more out of his QB knowing that the College Football Playoff committee wanted some style points from Florida State. Norvell kept his response short and sweet at the Orange Bowl presser.
“A 10-point win in a conference championship game, I thought that was pretty stylish.” said Norvell.

Norvell also stated that the Playoff snub will always stick with him. He stressed the number of Florida State players who opted out of the game since then.
“I will always have feelings about that decision,” said Norvell. “There are guys that are not playing in this game that have played their last game as Florida State Seminoles…this has been a team of great resolve that has overcome adversity.”

Tate Rodemaker, Trey Benson, Johnny Wilson, DJ Lundy, Jared Verse, and Keon Coleman are just some of the players who have either opted out or decided to transfer ahead of the Orange Bowl matchup.
A 14-0 season is a possibility for Norvell with a win over the Bulldogs. Kickoff from Hard Rock Stadium is set for 4 p.m. ET on Saturday on ESPN.
