Class of 2025 running back pledge Girard Pringle announced Saturday afternoon that he has committed to Miami, choosing the Hurricanes over offers from Alabama and Georgia.

Pringle hails from Seffner, Florida and stands at 5-10, 182 pounds. He’s considered to be the No. 260 overall prospect in the Class of 2025, as well as the No. 21 RB and No. 36 prospect out of Florida, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.

Here’s his post announcing his commitment.

This is a strong get for the Hurricanes and their 2nd 4-star pledge. Pringle is also Miami’s top rated prospect in the Class of 2025, one that ranks 18th in the country according to 247Sports.

How does this impact Alabama, Georgia?

It’s still very early in recruiting for the Class of 2025, so not much. Especially considering Georgia and Alabama’s starts in their respective recruiting classes.

Georgia currently has a pair of 5-stars committed to their 2025 class, which also includes 3-star running back Bo Walker.

Alabama has a 4-star running back in their 2025 class: Anthony Rogers from Mississippi. Rogers is  considered to be the No. 5 RB in the Class of 2025.
