ESPN college football analyst Dan Mullen is a believer in NC State.

Mullen released predictions for some of the top games across the country in Week 5 on Wednesday evening, and he has NC State upsetting Clemson in Death Valley.

Here’s his prediction:

This is a top 10 showdown that could have major implications on the Atlantic division title race. Clemson is favored by a touchdown in Las Vegas, but NC State defeated the Tigers in Raleigh last season.

Both teams enter this game with a 4-0 record, but neither has been perfect this season. Clemson needed double overtime to get past Wake Forest in Winston-Salem last weekend. The Wolfpack needed multiple missed kicks to escape with a 1-point win over East Carolina back in Week 1.

Clemson’s defense is also dealing with some key injuries in its secondary. Andrew Mukuba, Sheridan Jones and Malcolm Greene Jr. all missed last week’s game against Wake Forest. It’s unclear if any — or all — will be healthy enough to play vs. NC State.

If Clemson’s secondary is still banged up, it could be another nightmare evening for that unit. Quarterback Devin Leary is more than capable of taking advantage of the Tigers’ struggling defensive backs.

Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
