The Wolfpack now seemingly have the inside track to the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament. South Carolina lost a stunner to Kentucky in the SEC Tournament on Sunday.
According to ESPN’s Charlie Creme, NC State is currently projected to be the No. 1 seed in the Bridgeport region. South Carolina, Louisville and Stanford are the other projected No. 1 seeds.
As for the win over Miami, NC State was led by Elissa Cunane’s 17 points and 8 rebounds. She was also named MVP of the tournament.

This is NC State’s third consecutive ACC Tournament title. The Wolfpack are the first program to pull that off since Notre Dame won four in a row from 2014-17. No ACC program has ever won five consecutive tournament titles.
NC State will now have a week off before finding out its NCAA Tournament regional next Monday.
