Mack Brown expressed his frustrations with “tampering” in college football on his radio show on Monday night.

The UNC coach took aim at the current landscape of college football. Many college football teams have been impacted by NIL deals and the ability for players to enter the transfer portal.

“What I hate the most is people tampering and buying people off your team,” Brown said.

With NIL now legal, college football players are in positions to leave their schools for other schools with more lucrative NIL deals. North Carolina seems to be feeling the impact of other teams pursuing players on their roster.

When players are able to officially enter the transfer portal on Dec. 5, it’s possible UNC could lose key players from its roster. The Tar Heels will also have the opportunity to add players via the portal in the coming weeks and months.

North Carolina will face Clemson in the the ACC Championship Game on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.
