It didn’t take long for North Carolina fans to start celebrating.

Within an hour of UNC’s 81-77 victory on Saturday night, Franklin Street in Chapel Hill was flooded with students and fans. Here’s a few videos and photos of the scene:

Caleb Love was the hero on Saturday night. He finished with 28 total points, including 22 in the second half. His 3-pointer with under 30 seconds to go effectively gave UNC the win — and ended Mike Krzyzewski’s career in the process.

Armando Bacot contributed 11 points and 21 rebounds as he recorded a record-setting 30th double-double of the season. He also battled through an ankle injury in the final five minutes of the game, but continued to dominate Duke’s frontcourt on the glass.

The race isn’t over, though. North Carolina will face Kansas on Monday night in the National Championship Game. The Tar Heels and Jayhawks have met 11 times previously, with UNC winning 6 of those matchups.

Stay safe out there, Chapel Hill.
