Jac Collinsworth will not be calling Notre Dame games, as NBC is reportedly making a major change to its lineup.

According to Andrew Marchand of The Athletic, Jac Collinsworth is out as the play-by-play man for Irish football games. Collinsworth, 29, served in the role for the past two seasons alongside Jason Garrett.

Garrett will reportedly remain in his role as the color commentator, with Dan Hicks returning to Notre Dame play-by-play duties. Hicks called ND games last decade and has been NBC’s lead golf commentator.

There is a chance Irish fans could hear another broadcast team calling a Notre Dame game. NBC is reportedly designating Noah Eagle and Todd Blackledge as their “A team.” While Eagle and Blackledge are expected to call Big Ten games, they could be featured on a Notre Dame game if NBC deems it Saturday’s top draw.

Collinsworth, 29, graduated from Notre Dame in 2017. The son of prominent Sunday Night Football broadcaster Cris Collinsworth, Jac is expected to remain with NBC as an NFL and Olympic reporter, while also calling college football and basketball games for the streaming service Peacock.

Notre Dame is signed with NBC through 2029.
