The Shamrock Series first began in 2009. However, the Fighting Irish didn’t begin wearing alternate uniforms for the Shamrock Series until 2012 when they blasted Miami, 41-3. Here’s every Shamrock Series alternate the Fighting Irish have worn so far.

Here are Notre Dame’s results in the Shamrock Series:

  • 2009: Notre Dame def. Washington State, 40-14
  • 2010: Notre Dame def. Army, 27-3
  • 2011: Notre Dame def. Maryland, 45-21
  • 2012: Notre Dame def. Miami, 41-3
  • 2013: Notre Dame def. Arizona State, 37-34
  • 2014: Notre Dame def. Purdue, 30-14

Notre Dame is technically 4-2 all-time vs. BYU. However, the Fighting Irish had 2 (now vacated) wins over the Cougars in 2012 and 2013.

Kickoff vs. BYU on Oct. 8 is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
