Miami may be an underdog in Vegas, but ESPN’s Football Power Index is backing the Hurricanes to pull off the upset.

According to FPI, Miami has a 53.6% chance of beating the Aggies on Saturday night. Texas A&M is coming off a home loss to App State in Week 2.

Miami enters this game with a 2-0 record on the season. The Hurricanes beat Southern Miss 30-7 at home last weekend.

Miami’s defense has been excellent so far through 2 weeks. That unit is allowing just 10 points per game on the young season.

Meanwhile, Texas A&M’s offense has struggled to gain traction. The Aggies scored just 14 points at home against the Mountaineers last weekend.

Coach Jimbo Fisher did not rule out a potential QB change vs. Miami. Haynes King managed just 97 passing yards in A&M’s loss to App State.

Kickoff is at 9:00 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
