Brett Clatterbaugh, a 4-star linebacker in the Class of 2025, announced Thursday that he has cut his list to 5, including a pair of teams out of the ACC: Clemson and Virginia Tech. Notre Dame was also listed on Clatterbaugh’s final list.

Clatterbaugh, who hails from Culpeper, Virginia, stands at 6-2, 220 pounds and is rated as the No. 285 overall prospect in the country, as well as the No. 28 LB and No. 7 player out of Virginia.

Clatterbaugh will choose between the Bulldogs, Virginia Tech, Notre Dame, Clemson and Penn State, though his original offer list includes programs like Ohio State, Wisconsin, North Carolina and South Carolina, to name a few.

None of Clemson, Virginia Tech nor Notre Dame currently have a linebacker committed to their Class of 2025.

As for Clatterbaugh, it’s hard to know where he leans during this still early stage in his recruitment. The HS junior recently took an unofficial visit to Penn State on Sept. 23.
