Malachi Toney, a top WR recruit in the class of 2026, has narrowed his options down to 10 schools, including 2 ACC programs.

Toney is considered one of the top targets of the 2026 class. Although only a freshman in high school, the WR holds offers from more than 15 Power 5 schools.

Miami and Florida State made the top 10 on Toney’s list, which the WR announced early Saturday morning. SEC schools Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Auburn and Florida made the list. Michigan, Penn State and Ohio State were the 3 B1G representatives.

Despite only being a freshman in high school, Toney has been heavily recruited already, and his stats tell why. Toney attends American Heritage Academy, a top prep football school in Florida. In his freshman year debut, the WR hauled in 35 catches for 621 yards, while averaging 17.7 yards per carry.

Considering Toney was in competition for playing time with now-Ohio State wideout Brandon Inniss and Miami running back commit Mark Fletcherhis 8 TDs on the season are even more impressive.
