Clemson is coming off of a disappointing 2023 campaign. The Tigers struggled out of the gate as they started the year with a 4-4 record. While they did win their last 5 games of the year to get to 9-4, this past season was the first time since 2010 that Clemson failed to earn double-digit victories in a campaign.

Clemson has continued to recruit very well from the high school ranks. The Tigers have signed 22 high school prospects in the class of 2024. The group, led by 5-star linebacker Sammy Brown, currently sits at No. 12 nationally per 247Sports Composite rankings. However, Clemson has continued its trend of not using the transfer portal to acquire players. The Tigers do not currently have any transfer commitments so far this offseason.

The Tigers will be hoping Cade Klubnik can take a step forward next year as they try to get back to ACC title contention. Last season, Klubnik threw for 2,833 yards, 19 touchdowns and 9 interceptions. However, he averaged just 6.3 yards per attempt, which ranked dead last amongst 11 qualified ACC quarterbacks.

Clemson will open its season with a tough matchup against Georgia in Atlanta. The Bulldogs are an early favorite to be ranked No. 1 in the country entering next season.
