Clemson has a few question marks on its defensive line as it prepares to face Louisiana Tech in Week 3.

On the injury front, Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said senior Xavier Thomas could be a “game-time decision” against the Bulldogs this weekend. Thomas has been recovering from a foot injury he suffered during fall camp.

“XT’s really close. We’re just kind of taking it day-by-day,” Swinney told reporters on Tuesday, via On3. “He’s right there. Will probably be a game-time decision on him.”

Clemson defensive lineman Tyler Davis is also questionable. He missed the Furman game with an injury and Swinney told reporters he will hold him back vs. Louisiana Tech if he’s not 100%.

The status of defensive lineman Bryan Bresee is also unknown for this weekend. Bresee’s sister, Ella, is battling brain cancer.

“He’ll play if he wants to play but he’s got more important things that he needs to focus on right now than football, Swinney said. “A lot more important things than the game of football for that young man right now.”

Clemson and Louisiana Tech kickoff at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
