Bishop Thomas, the former Florida State defensive lineman, has announced his transfer destination.

Thomas will be headed to Boulder to play for Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes team. The DL announced his commitment on Instagram on Sunday.

Thomas is the fourth former Seminole to transfer to Colorado this offseason to play under Sanders. He joins former Florida State players Derrick McLendon, Omarion Cooper and Brendan Gant in Boulder, along with multiple other players Sanders has added from the transfer portal.

Thomas was a much sought-after recruit in the 2022 class, rated as a 4-star recruit and No. 48 overall prospect. Thomas was also ranked as the No. 27 defensive tackle in the class, scoring offers from multiple schools including Illinois, Oregon, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, and Texas, among others.

The DL made collegiate his debut and recorded a tackle in the 44-14 win vs. Boston College. Thomas played in two games, and was named the FSU Defensive Scout Team Player of the Year. He has two years of eligibility remaining as he heads to Boulder.
