Florida State added an intriguing offensive line transfer on Wednesday night.

The Noles picked up a commitment from former Harvard offensive lineman Jacob Rizy. He was named 1st team All-Ivy League for his efforts during the 2023 season.

Rizy was also 2nd team all-Ivy League during the 2022 season. He’s been a consistent performer for Harvard throughout the past 2 campaigns.

Florida State has been very active in the transfer portal so far this offseason. Rizy is the 3rd offensive lineman to commit to Florida State so far this cycle, joining Richie Leonard and Terrence Ferguson. Rizy is expected to play along the interior for Florida State in 2024.

Overall, FSU has 15 transfer commitments in its 2024 class. The group sits at No. 3 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings. When combined with Florida State’s high school recruiting, the Noles are adding the No. 7 class in the country per the same service.

Rizy is listed at 6-foot-5, 305 pounds. He initially joined Harvard back in the class of 2020 and has 2 years of eligibility remaining.
