The broadcast also showed Travis on the sidelines on crutches. He was also wearing a boot on his left foot.
This is a tremendous loss for the Seminoles, who are now without several key players in this game. Defensive end Jared Verse also left this game with a potentially serious injury. Defensive lineman Fabien Lovett did not dress up for this game.
Travis completed his first 11 passes of this game for 148 yards and 2 touchdowns. However, Louisville’s defense found success in the second quarter and limited the Noles’ offense to just 16 yards in that half.
Tate Rodemaker is Florida State’s backup quarterback. Florida State only has one other scholarship quarterback on the roster in true freshman AJ Duffy.
