Jordan Travis has been named the ACC Player of the Year for the 2023 season.

The conference announced that news on Wednesday afternoon. Travis was also named as the ACC’s Offensive Player of the Year for his performance.

Travis beat out NC State linebacker Payton Wilson for the ACC Player of the Year honor. Travis earned 31 votes from a panel of 65 voters (51 media members and 14 ACC head coaches) while Wilson came in second place with 25 votes.

Travis was exceptional this season and led Florida State to an 11-0 record before his season came to an end in Week 12 vs. North Alabama. Travis suffered a season-ending leg injury in that game and had surgery this week.

Travis finished his season with 2,756 yards, 20 touchdowns and just 2 interceptions. He led Florida State to 17 consecutive victories (dating back to last season) prior to his injury.

Travis is the first Florida State player to win ACC Player of the Year since Jameis Winston win the award in 2013.

Florida State will battle Louisville for the ACC Championship on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
