KJ Bolden update: Signs point toward signing-day flip away from Florida State, per reports
KJ Bolden’s recruitment is expected to come to an end on Wednesday afternoon.
The 5-star defensive back has been committed to Florida State since August, but his status is in-doubt as he prepares to officially sign with a program. It was previously reported that Bolden would have an “open mind” as heard from FSU, Georgia and Auburn one last time this week.
As of Wednesday morning, there’s serious momentum for Bolden to flip his commitment to Georgia. Multiple recruiting insiders are predicting Bolden will sign with the Bulldogs when all is said and done.
Here’s some of reporting that’s out there regarding Bolden’s status:

One way or the other, Florida State should get some resolution on this matter soon. According to ESPN’s Tom VanHaaren, Bolden is scheduled to announce his final decision at 1 p.m. ET at a ceremony at his high school.
Bolden would be a big loss for the Noles if he does end up leaving on signing day. He’s currently their top-ranked player in the class of 2024. He’s the No. 14 overall player and the No. 1 safety in the country for this cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
Bolden is from Buford, Georgia. He’s been committed to Florida State since Aug. 5.
