Mike Norvell received some rough news on Wednesday. The coach saw 5-stars KJ Bolden and Armondo Blount flip on Early Signing Day and commit to Georgia and Miami respectively.

The coach admitted that it is “hard” when commitments don’t work out.

“It’s hard… we want it all. We’re not half in on building relationships… I always tell guys… go where is the best fit for you… you see the swings in recruiting, it happens,” Norvell explained. “I wish them all the best… I try not to take it personally, but it hurts.”

Blount originally committed to the Miami Hurricanes, but flipped to the Seminoles back in October. The prospect flipped back to the Canes on the first day of the Early Signing Period. Bolden had been committed to the Seminoles since August, but flipped to his home-state Bulldogs on Wednesday.

Even with those disappointments, the Noles still sport the No. 9 2024 recruiting class on the 247Sports Composite.
