The betting line for the Week 9 matchup between Florida State and Georgia Tech saw a large shift.

Florida State opened as an 18-point favorite over Georgia Tech on Sunday, according to CircaSports. The line shifted more in Florida State’s favor on Monday. The line movement made Florida State a 23-point favorite over Georgia Tech at most books.

That means the line moved up 5 points in less than 24 hours.

Based on the spread, Florida State is expected to snap it’s 3-game losing streak in Week 9.

Florida State has been helped by tremendous performances from quarterback Jordan Travis. In Week 7, Travis passed for 254 yards and 2 touchdowns against Clemson. For this week’s game, he will likely be a factor on offense for Florida State.

Georgia Tech could be without quarterback Jeff Sims, who is dealing with an injury. Sims left last Thursday’s game against Virginia with an injury. If Sims is unavailable, Georgia Tech could struggle to find ways to score against Florida State.

Florida State is set to host Georgia Tech on Saturday at 12 p.m. ET.
