Louisville defensive back Jarvis Brownlee has declared for the 2024 NFL Draft.

After two seasons with the Cardinals, Brownlee said goodbye to college football on Friday. He posted his draft declaration on Instagram, thanking Florida State and saying his two seasons at Louisville felt “like home.”

The 6-foot corner from Miami Gardens, Florida, began his career at Florida State. He redshirted in 2019, played eight games in 2020, then broke into the starting lineup for the Seminoles in 2021.

Prior to the 2022 season, Brownlee transferred to Louisville, where he stepped in right away to make starts in all 13 games. He finished third on the team in tackles (66) and added 14 passes defended and two interceptions.

This season, Brownlee appeared in 11 games. He missed the Virginia Tech, Virginia, and Miami games before returning against Kentucky. Brownlee produced 30 tackles, seven passes defended, and an interception.

He becomes the third player on the roster to publicly declare for the NFL Draft, joining running back Jawhar Jordan and wide receiver Jamari Thrash.
