Payton Wilson takes parting shot at North Carolina: 'If you want culture, come to Raleigh'
Payton Wilson took a parting shot at North Carolina in his walk-off interview on ACC Network after NC State’s 39-20 win over the Tar Heels on Saturday night.
The victory is the Wolfpack’s third straight win in this series. NC State has been dominant vs. the Tar Heels in recent seasons despite UNC having a perceived edge at quarterback in all three games.
Wilson pointed toward NC State’s toughness and “culture” as a reason why the Wolfpack have been so successful vs. UNC.
“If you want to have culture, come to Raleigh,” Wilson said. “Them boys in blue don’t know about it.
“For us, this is just another tail whooping we get to give somebody right down the road.”
Here’s video of Wilson’s comments:

“This is just another tail whopping, for us we get to get somebody right down the road.”

At 9-3, NC State has now won 5 straight games. If the Wolfpack win their bowl game, they will have won 10 games in a season for the first time since 2002.
NC State will learn its bowl destination next weekend.
