Terquavion Smith injury: NC State coach Kevin Keatts updates Smith's outlook for Notre Dame game
Terquavion Smith was involved in a scary scene after an injury sustained during Saturday’s loss to North Carolina. Fortunately, it looks like Smith avoided a major injury.
On Monday, NC State head coach Kevin Keatts addressed the status of Smith with a game vs. Notre Dame set for Tuesday night. Keatts confirmed Smith spent a lot of time Sunday with the team’s medical staff and trainers, but Keatts is unsure of where Smith is at physically since the team has not practiced yet.
Smith is expected to be a game-time decision vs. the Irish, and Keatts noted he does know Smith’s “really really sore right now.”

Smith was taken to the hospital following Saturday’s injury but he was discharged following x-rays coming back negative. He leads NC State this season with 18.7 points and 4.5 assists per game.
